Merck and Hashgraph Group launch Hedera-based product passport for EU compliance

Merck and The Hashgraph Group integrate Merck’s M-Trust authentication with TrackTrace, a Hedera-based digital product passport, to support EU supply-chain transparency rules. Authentication data from product markers is stored on TrackTrace, linking physical security to blockchain-based traceability. Targeted EU uses include Digital Product Passports under ESPR and EU Deforestation Regulation, with pilots already demonstrated. This collaboration highlights Hedera-enabled enterprise adoption in securing authenticity and regulatory compliance across sectors like pharma, luxury, and electronics.
