Hedera introduces MirrorNodeAccountBalanceQuery, an SDK-native replacement for AccountBalanceQuery that reads HBAR balances from Mirror Nodes without REST calls. Available in JavaScript, Java, and Go, it supports multiple account formats, requires no payment, and auto-retries 5xx errors. Migration is mandatory for affected apps since consensus-node endpoints are throttled to zero on testnet/mainnet with v0.77. Expect slight delays due to Mirror Node propagation; test on testnet first.
