Hedera rolled out HIP-1313 in v0.73 to add a high-volume processing lane for mass entity creation, enabling up to 50,000 TPS for FileAppend and 25,000 TPS for ConsensusCreateTopic (31,500 TPS aggregate). Developers can enable high_volume to route transactions to throttle buckets with dynamic pricing and a setMaxTransactionFee cap. The update includes SDK requirements (Java v2.71+, Go v2.79+, JavaScript v2.83+) and mirrors endpoint fields for verification, addressing peak onboarding, migrations, and NFT minting workloads.
