Hashgraph Group and Merck Launch EU Digital Product Passport on Hedera

The Hashgraph Group (THG) and Merck announced a collaboration to launch an EU Digital Product Passport solution on Hedera. They integrate THG’s TrackTrace supply chain platform with Merck’s M-Trust physical authentication tech to verify both digital records and actual products, targeting ESPR compliance ahead of deadlines. The system links physical authenticity scans to Hedera-backed digital DIDs, covering origin, sourcing, and regulatory data across pharma, luxury, food, electronics, and industrial sectors. Pilot development is underway.
