GoDaddy and HOL (Hashgraph Online) Propose Open Standards for Verifiable AI Agent Identity on DNS

GoDaddy and Hashgraph Online (HOL) publish two draft standards to streamline verifiable AI agent identity using DNS-based ANS, UAID (HCS-14), and Merkle checkpoint logs (HCS-27). The proposals enable cross-registry discovery, verifiable provenance, and auditability of AI agents while keeping data off-ledger. This collaborative effort aims to simplify integration for developers, security teams, and marketplaces, with production ANS already live since November 2025 and open calls for industry feedback.
