CLPR: A new ‘bridgeless’ standard for cross-ledger communication

Hashgraph unveils CLPR (Cross-Ledger Protocol), a bridgeless standard enabling native, trust-minimized transfers of tokens, data, and messages between ledgers without custodial intermediaries. The initial deployment links HashSphere private networks with Hedera, enabling Sphere-to-Sphere and Sphere-to-Hedera transfers to improve liquidity and cross-chain settlement times. CLPR uses cryptographic state proofs for ledger-to-ledger trust, aims to be chain-agnostic, and supports cross-ledger data and oracle workflows, reducing reliance on bridges and custodial risk.
