167 Million Parcels and Counting: Inside Teleport's Digital Customs Documentation System on Hedera

Teleport and The Hashgraph Group are co-developing a Digital Customs Documentation System (DCDS) on Hedera to streamline cross-border shipments in Southeast Asia. With Teleport processing 61.7 million parcels in Q1 2026 (up 122% YoY) and daily peaks of 1.4 million, the system aims to anchor verifiable provenance using TrackTrace, DIDs, and Hedera Consensus Service. The project targets Malaysia initially, aims for live shipments by H1 2027, and envisions broader interoperability across lanes, with TradeTrust alignment and HS code validation to reduce delays and misdeclarations.
